Question:

Madcatz Gamecube memory card?

I just bought some gamecube games for my wii. I have to buy a memory card, and I was looking at the Madcatz 1019 block one from gamestop for $20. I was going to buy it, but now I'm hearing that it will erase your memory, and if Nintendo finds out, they can void my Wii warranty.

How's the quality of the Madcatz 1019 block card, and should I get it? Or should I get a Nintendo Brand 251 block for 17.99?

I also heard that the Madcatz one doesn't work in slot "A" and can get stuck in the Wii.

Please tell me how well the memory card works, and if I should get it, because I'm just going to be buying like Melee and Mario Party, and things like that.( Stuff I can't get on PS2)

Thanks

  1. Many offbrand cards simply don't work in the Wii. Just go with a Nintendo brand card and avoid the headache.
