Madden 09 roster updates?

for madden 09 for the ps3 will there be roster updates?

and wats the deal with brett farve in the game, is he a packer, jet, free agent?

He is not on the Packers or The jets and He is not a free agent. go to Player Management then go to NFL GREATS in the roster. Brett Farve should be in there. Release him out of the NFL GREATS Roster and he will be a free agent. Before you put Brett Farve on the Jets Roster, you have to Sent Chad Penningtion to the Miami Dolphins and then you can put Brett Farve on the Jets.

Also you have to have a Internet Connetion to update the game before you do the following and the roster will be update until it changes.

There are roster updates on the online mode.

Brett Favre starts the game as a Packer but after the roster update, he is a Jet.

i have the answer to your question ok midnight august the 11th they have alot of the madden 09 reprint's for the front of the game where he will have the jet's jersey uniform on i found this out to day when i was asking the question about it in they told me it will be a change for all the fan's out there wondering the same thing now you know from me gl on getting your madden 08 but it will cost you $89.99 + tax's :) ava

Yes, as long as you have an internet connection to download the updates. And its $60 for next-gen, the $90 one comes with nfl head coach. And I think Brett will be with the jets in the update
