Madden cover question.?

Do you think that Eddie George should not be diagnosed as being affected by the Madden Curse because of the fact that the year after he was put on the cover he ran for a career high in yards and touchdowns.

George's curse came in 2001 where he failed to break 1000 yards and Tennessee missed the playoffs going 7-9.

Nope, he's got the curse. He totally crapped up and then shortly retired after that. I like the madden cover choice for '09... Brett Favre's curse started working before the cover was even released.

Yes but the year after that he tanked and then he had to retire soo after. Sometimes a curse takes a while to work.

no, when they went to the playoffs, he fumbled the ball like h**l, and just thad a horrible performance

i would say no...turf toe is a h**l of an injury and that's what ended his streak of 1000 yd seasons and his career early...did Madden help no...but i don't consider his circumstance as part of the curse just like i don't with Ray Lewis either

...honestly after looking at that website, i'm not sure if i would count Culpepper either because missing 4 games can cause that disparity, especially if you had the type of year that he had the year before....career numbers are hard to follow up...watch Brady this year...it won't be the same
