  1. don't buy anything designed in china (if it's built in china, that's another story - see below).  Any off-brand electronics with a name brand that you've never heard of was designed and made in china.  Avoid this garbage.  This would include almost ANYTHING such as tools, radios, calculators, computers. ETC.

Now, if  a product has a name you've heard of, like Sony, or Casio, or Ipod, and it's made in china, at least you can assume that the company stands by the quality. It's still not a good idea to buy anything made in china.  But this is increasingly hard to do.

The short answer is..buy nothing made in china that is generic - especially expensive things.  It is unsafe, will break in a week, and is not worth the money.

  2. An  ingredient from China used in Heparin recently is suspected to have caused the recall of 19 lots of the drug commonly used in Hospitals.(a blood thinner)Dialysis Patients too.5 deaths reported several were sickened. The company that made the Drug couldn't pinpoint the cause ,so the FDA is investigating.I would say stay away from all edible and products that children will touch. The Feds are in Bed with The Free Trade Mongers,China will call us on the debt we owe if they are Boycotted .So look on line for independent research on whats safe.Remember the Pet food. The Government said that a lower number of deaths occurred.Be carefull our Pharmaceutical Companies are mixing c**p made in China with the Drugs they distribute, without disclosure. This is definitely a cover up.The Government Crooks get Tons of money from Pharm.Company Lobbyist!Great ?

  3. Avoid them as much as possible, it'll eventually poison you.

  4. being that 80% or so of all things are made in china or taiwan or other places. the quality will vary.

they are cheapely made (low wages paid to workers i.e sweatshops in some cases).

some products are built better than others.
