Made video w/ digital camera, and it's installed on computer how do I get it to be a DVD?

I tried putting it on a DVD-R or a CD-R and my computer (it's newer) won't accept either. I want to be able to watch it on DVD.

It sounds like you need a dvd burner, not just a reader. I think a USB burner is under $200.00, and an installed, internal drive is a bit cheaper.

If you have  a DVD burner, it came with a program to do this automatically.
