I f she was stolen to order by peodophiles is it still likely she could still be alive? I really hope this is not the case, these files should have been released as soon as the police recieved the information.

If anyone took Madeleine McCann I would think they would kill and dispose of her as soon as possible considering the massive international profile of the case. It would be far too risky to keep her alive.

As Paul  C stated in a previous question, even the Met believe the stolen-to-order paedophile story is false.  It WAS thoroughly checked out.

Very few police forces automatically release information on an investigation to the general public but in this case it's pretty obvious the PJ did all they could.

Police files in an ongoing case are not public domain so don't look for them in the immediate future. As for Maddie, I believe she is still alive and likely sold into slavery in some third world country.

Yes, it means she could still be alive. This is what the Mccanns have been trying to say, the police in portigaul have failed. They wanted an open and shut case. They already knew they messed up the case and were already pointing fingers. So they turned it to the parents, vs. following through with many many possible leads. I mean how can they say that wasn't a credible lead, the 41 yr. old who said she saw her, the multiple sightings. So what people need to start doing is looking for maddi again, getting this back out there cause it has been focused on the parents for many many months.

That is just ONE theory, but are you really telling me if those sightings in Amsterdam were really her, her abductors would parade her around like that when there is a WORLD WIDE man hunt in operation to find this kid?

Why would a paedophile gang risk getting caught by stealing a child from a holiday complex (drawing attention to themselves) when there are children everywhere on the street to take in poor countries? It does not scan. None of it. After all the media circus that was created by her parents, surely any abductor would have killed her by now for fear of being recognised and being caught? But you never know and I understand the parents need to never give up hope or leave any stone unturned in looking for her.

I agree the files should have been released to English Police straight away. Its rediculous and does nothing accept delay the case, the portugese police have been useless all the way through and now they've closed the case. TYPICAL. I wouldnt expect anything more from them to be honest.

The notion of organised paedophile gangs abducting middle-class children from Western European holiday resorts is the stuff of tabloid fiction, not reality. In other news, Elvis is still alive, Diana was murdered, and UFOs have been sighted over Kate and Gerry McCann's home.

In the real world, a child is vastly more likely to be killed by his/her own parents than to be murdered "to order" by the paedo mafia or whatever.
