Madeleine: why doesn't David Payne sue?

The most appalling allegations against Payne are all over the internet.

Why doesn't he object?

What planet is banana on.It's all over the internet that Payne is a kiddie fiddler and that information was disclosed to the British police just 13 days after Maddie went missing.Unfortunately the Police then withheld the information from the Portuguese police for six months.When are we going to see some litigation from the McCann camp.They have been threatening for months but have yet to enter a court of law.All those powerful lawyers and not a sausage,what a waste of resources

I think David Payne is family friend so he wont sue them because he knows it wasnt they're fault he's in the news, just bad policing

David Payne is one of the "Tapas 7", allegedly also a paedophile. He also has an uncanny resemblance to Robert Murat. A case of mistaken identity, perhaps?

Just checked it out, isnt he just a family friend and work colleague of the mcanns? a heart specialist also on holiday with them?: i got this off the net:

Mr Payne, a senior research fellow in cardiovascular sciences at Leicester University, was on holiday with his doctor wife Fiona, 34, their two children and Mrs Payne's mother, Dianne Webster, when Madeleine went missing.

He said today: "We don't want to be caught up in a media showdown. We just want Madeleine to come back and it is just saddening that other events are taking over. It is awful to see what is being written. All these smears and rumours are overshadowing the important thing which is to get Madeleine back."

sue against what? sue because his ex friends made an allegation about him to police? this is part of a police investigation, he could sue the police for releasing the information, but the mccanns pressed for the case details to be made public, so who does he sue?

Why indeed? To be accused of such a heinous crime and do nothing? Maybe he can't because he might not like further investigations into the matter! and the UK Police were informed about this and did nothing about it for months! Incredible. There will be no doubt many other shocking facts revealed before this sickening charade is over!

Because it's obvioulsy complete and utter bull. When he knows the pain of losing his own daughter, I seriously doubt he would want to inflict that on someone else.

Because he doesn't want to risk being investigated? The allegations were made by another couple who were friends of the Mccann's, people who were considered credible witnesses.
