Iron Maiden is dead right about that. Sad but true. There is nothing new to report so the story has now gone away. The other reason people abduct children is for their body parts - big trade on the black market for those. Not everyone in the world is worthy of being on the planet.

There was a psychologist interviewed a few months after she disappeared and she said that if Maddy was being treated well chances are she has already forgotten her family. Is possible - I don't remember any before I was 5 years old!

Her name is Madeleine McCann and it's looking increasingly unlikely that she will ever be found, but cases such as that of Natascha Kampusch who was held captive for 10 years must give the parents at least a glimmer of hope of finding her again.

The news has stopped talking about her case because it happened over a year ago and her parents are now trying to focus on rebuilding their family life with a big hole in the middle of it.

Honestly I don't think she will ever be found. Sorry. That child was taken for a reason, most likely a target kidnapping. There are people in this world who through no fault of their own cannot have kids. So they hire someone professional to acquire one for them and they pay a lot of money. To these professionals it's just another job. With all the press coverage that the story got, I just hope that whoever took her didn't panic and that she is still alive wherever she is.

Your third question doesn't make any sense you mean what happened about the man that tried to abduct another girl looking like Madeline? Who knows probably not important because he's been caught and probably was never anywhere near where Madeline Mccann was. The news stopped talking about Madeline because it's plain as day that her parents have involvement with her disappearance, but they can't say anything until there's more evidence that they were involved otherwise they run the risk of being sued.
