Madrid Spain in November?

Question

I am planning to visit Madrid mid November. (November 16-20th) I have never visited Spain and would love to know the following?

What is the weather like during that time?

I am thinking of staying at the Room Mate hotel (Travesía de Trujillos 3) Any objections with that hotel?

If I stay there - any great places for a single girl in her 30s to hang out?

Feel free to share something else you think I need to know.

if you don't know about a hotel.don't stay there it may be dirty.
