Madrid join the race to sign Spurs Bale

Tottenham Hotspur winger, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gareth-Bale-c14422 has reportedly drawn interest from Real Madrid, who will join the race in signing the prolific Welsh player in the coming summer.
The London side, who have also been contacted by Spanish giants Barcelona about the player, have put the player’s worth to be in the proximity of a mammoth 40 million pounds. Earlier, Bale himself had expressed the desire of playing for the Camp Nou side.
Besides Madrid and Barcelona, Manchester City are also believed to be preparing a bid for the Welsh player in the summer.
The 22 year old has made 152 appearances for the Spurs and has scored 28 goals in all competitions for his side. In the current season, the winger has netted the ball on 11 occasions.
When asked about the prospects of his possible move to Spain, Bale admitted that the offer is likely to tickle his fancy.
He said, “If you said to any young player that you could play for Barcelona or Real would they turn it down? Probably not.”

“Barcelona feel that £40m is madness, Rosell wants Bale and would love to see him at Camp Nou but they simply cannot afford him. The interest is strong but the club cannot take it further based on the price as things stand.", told a source knowledgeable
on the matter.”
The difference between Tottenham and Barcelona regarding the player’s price tag is likely to leave the door ajar for the financially rich Bernabeu side. The Madrid boss, Jose Mourinho made a failed effort in 2010 to landing the player and will be eyeing
the opportunity of signing the Welsh player this time around.
However, some sources have maintained that Bale would stay at White Hart Lane for another year before he leaves for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011. He was signed by Tottenham in May 2007 from Southampton, when he was just 17 years old.
