The Spaniard has taken out time to speak about his side’s chances of gaining success in the defence of their title this season, claiming that they will not give up.
Real Madrid’s director of football, Miguel Pardeza, has expressed that Los Blancos will challenge for their Spanish La Liga title despite dropping a significant number of points.
According to the official, Los Blancos have the potential to force a comeback in the race for the silverware and still have the opportunity to defend the trophy which they acquired last season. He stressed that there is a long way to go into the season and
that anything is possible.
Madrid have made one of the most disappointing starts to the league campaign this season. The Whites have been far from impressive and have been dropping points on a consistent basis. In addition, they are currently at the fourth spot in the Spanish Primera
Division’s League standings, despite being the defending champions.
To cause more anxiety for the Santiago Bernabeu faithful, there is the fact that Barcelona are the league leaders at the moment. Furthermore, the Catalans now boast a 11-point lead over the Spanish capital-based outfit.
Experts believe that Barca’s commanding lead over the current champions could see them overthrow Jose Mourinho’s men as the title holders, should things continue to stay the same way.
However, Pardeza is convinced that Los Vikingos can bounce back and take the competition to their fiercest rivals. He mused that Los Merengues will put up a challenge in order to defend their title.

"There are still a lot of games to come, including one against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604, and it is our duty and responsibility to continue fighting," he told AS.

"We will not give up because that is not part of our character or history. It was a very demanding game, and we didn't have much luck shown by the perfectly legal goal we had ruled out.

"Had that goal been allowed, I am sure that it would have changed the fate of the match. It didn't help having to play in the Champions League during the week either."
Real Madrid defeated Alcoyano with a score of 3-0 in the Copa del Rey during midweek.
