  1. Well, let's try it.  What's your Card Number and expiration date?

Okay, seriously, it is likely to work anyplace that has the Cirrus / MasterCharge / Maestro symbol.

Now, your bank may charge you a foreign transaction fee, as well as an OUTRAGEOUSLY unfair exchange rate, but bankers are evil.  Doesn't that go without saying?

  2. Yes, it's Mastercard's international card.

  3. Should be.  You may need to call your bank and make sure your card will work outside of your county.   You need to make sure you banks support foreign point of sale transactions using your maestro card.  Some places only take Mastercard.   Tip, do not use an atm that will hold your card.  Find an atm that will not hold your card while you do the transaction.

Sometimes,  the foreign Maestro cards  may work as a Mastercard on the U.S. card system but it is hit & miss.
