Maganda is nice, but it sounds too much like Megan, a very common name. I actually like Gelynn, particularly because it means "free".

i like gelynne, even though it kinda sounds like jelly or jello. i well, that can be her nick name :) meganda sounds like mega and thats not fun to be made fun or for. jelly is kinda cute :)

Neither one. I understand the meanings...and that's fine...but I don't think those would be suitable names for anyone.

If you were to choose Maganda, change the spelling to Meganda so the child can use the nickname Meg. As for Gelynne...I'm sorry but every time I see that I think of the Dr Scholls commercial for shoe cushions.
