star defender has displeased the team manager Felix Magath.
Wheel Covers outfit’s coach announced that both the club and the centre-back tried to find a new club for the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Denmark-c2884 international in the summer transfer market but were unsuccessful in their attempts due to a lack of potential
buyers and interested parties. Therefore, the player is set to remain with his current club.
The German boss claimed that the transfer window made it difficult for the player to move elsewhere, even though they wanted to part ways with the 23-year-old, and as a result nothing of consequence occurred.
"The club and the player wanted to go their separate ways; however, the market has not made this possible. Nothing ever happened," Magath was quoted as saying in an interview.
The Bundesliga side already have a number of options in defence with players such as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marco-Russ-c23742 in contention for the starting eleven. Hence, Kjaer faces tough contest for places
in the first team.
The tactician encouraged the youngster and suggested that the highly-rated player can work this situation in his favour by training hard and performing well when he gets the chance. The stopper will need to have a positive attitude
and is a very gifted player with good touch. He only needs to give his best to earn a place back in the team.
"Kjaer will just have to adapt. Simon is a good player with great skill. If he works hard, everything will turn out well," he finally concluded.
The young defender lost his starting berth in last year’s campaign as he was inconsistent in his performances. Therefore, a loan spell to the Italian club materialised.
