The Wolves manager has admitted that he has made some wrong decisions this season and is looking for redemption after the winter break.
Wolfsburg are currently in 12th place with 20 points and are four points adrift of the relegation play-off place. The side has had a dismal outing so far after spending heavily in the summer transfer window and have
struggled for results.
Magath admitted that he has made some poor decisions in the course of the season and has called for improvement in the second-half of the campaign. He insisted that he still has a chance to redeem himself once the winter break
ends and is confident of a better showing next year.
The manager was expected to lead the side to a top-four finish at the end of the season after acquiring some great players in the summer. But as of now, a place in the top-half of the table would be excellent.
“Of course everybody makes mistakes and I have too. I don't do everything right, but I know beforehand that one cannot do everything right. Anybody can make mistakes, but what is important is that one recognizes that they have
made a mistake,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The former Schalke tactician wants the team to stage an impressive comeback after the winter break ends and is still hopeful of a place in Europe. He admitted that the players need only that little bit of confidence and they will
be up and running with results.
“In fact, everybody must make mistakes in order to improve, which is why I have no fear with any of my decisions because I know that I can also make mistakes, and mistakes are part of the game,” he concluded.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wolves-c40952 have already lost nine times in the Bundesliga this season and have largely struggled for form. The team has won only six times in the 17 games played and have shown inconsistency throughout. It will be a mighty effort
from the former Bundesliga champions, if they end up in the top-half of the standings table at the end of the season.
