The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfL-Wolfsburg-c40881 manager has insisted that he is currently enjoying the free time with his family and is keen to return next year
Felix Magath was sacked in October earlier this year from Wolfsburg after a string of poor results saw the club hovering in the relegation zone. The tactician has since been quite over his future and has reportedly taken a break
from football to be with his family.
The former Bayern Munich and Schalke manager insisted that he has nothing to prove and his record with all the clubs he has been with speaks everything. Magath stated that he has achieved everything he wanted to in the past few
years and spoke about his achievements with the likes of Wolfsburg.
The German led the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wolves-c40952 to their first ever Bundesliga title in 2009 and shocked many with his splendid tactics. The manager added that there is a reason to why many clubs in Germany want him, but refused to comment on his potential
next club.
“I have shown that I am [capable] with my values and my way of working anywhere in the league but being very successful. I saved financially troubled clubs from relegation. At Bayern Munich, the manager wanted me unconditionally,
that resulted in four titles in two years,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The 59-year-old further added that he has a lot of options currently from within http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 and also from abroad. However, the tactician needs more time with his family and intends to be back by next summer. He is hopeful that he
will be able to sign a deal in the next few months to start off before the new season begins.
“I will decide early this year where to go to. There have been one or two requests, from the Bundesliga, abroad, from national associations. I assume that I will be working by the summer of 2013,” the Bundesliga winner concluded.
Felix Magath has won the Bundesliga three times as manager with the likes of Bayern Munich and Wolfsburg and also has two German Cups to his name during his stay at the Allianz Arena.
