Magby Wont evolve?

My magby has the magmarizer and when i traded it it still diddnt evolve how do i get it to evolve?

The magby doesn't evolve with the magmarizer. It does that on it's own once it reaches level thirty. But if you trade a Magmar with the magmarizer, then it will evolve. Raise it up to a magmar first, then trade it. That will do the trick.
