yes. i am a pro when it comes to this! i know him also! he had a coin on the other side of the glass, and dropped that one~

Practice.  Look at the angle of his hand.  Now, if you were to smack a quarter onto the outside of that glass at just the right angle (as shown) it will bounce up, off the palm of his hand, and into the glass very quickly.
