Magic Ant Chalk?

I HATE spending my "point" thingies on actually ASKING questions, but I'm far too lazy to look this one up.

Just what is the difference between regular chalk, and that "magic" ant chalk? I know for a fact that the "magic" chalk will not only deter, but also KILL ants. Is this also true with regular, writing on the chalkboard, drawing crappy pictures on the sidewalk chalk?

Just Use a mix of cinnamon and sugar. The ants will pick up the sugar, along with the cinnamon, and take it back to their queen. Ants can’t digest cinnamon and once the queen dies from not being able to digest the cinnamon the colony will die without her.

please do not use chalk (for the chalkboard). it won't help to kill those nasty ants! try baking soda-or-the ant killing spray-or-the actualy ANT chalk.
