Has anyone on this thread tried the Magic Jack ? I just bought it and think it is amazing. I paid around 39.00 and it plugs into my computer (as long as i have high speed internet) and i get free long distance anywhere in the U.S and i travel with it to Europe and i dont pay a penny for any calls back to the U.S

It is free for the first year then i only pay 19.95 per year after that. I am very happy with it . Is there anything out there that is similar to the Magic Jack ?

yes, I love it too...I got it since last May.... and I took it to Europe and made free phone calls to the US!! I just payed my 2nd year....

no, so far its the only thing there is....it kinda runs piggy-back of wi-max.....I also have other VoIP providers and SIP services on my computer.....but the MJ is the easiest to install and use....I use it with the combination of GrandCentral so I can use different area-codes!!

Actually yes there is another company that has something similar.  I like it better.  If I'm gone for a long period of time from my house, I can also have my home phone forward to it. Go to www.shaunvague.acnrep.com  Look under products. If it's not in that section scroll down to the bottom and click onto the acn button.  One of the two.  Try the first one.
