My family is going to florida for vacation and we are going to disney world for a day. But we can't decide which park to go to. One wants to go to Magic Kingdom and the other Epcot. We live in california and go to disneyland a lot. But one still wants magic kingdom. Which do you think is better?

  1. Magic Kingdom is still the best for small children.  Epcot is a little more intellectual (you actually can't help but learn stuff) and has some very decent rides in there now.  If you go to Disneyland alot, you might want to try Epcot this one time.  I teach high school in Florida and I took my students on a field trip to Epcot this year, and they LOVED it!  Some of the rides are fast and fun, others are slow-moving and educational, but still fun.  Plus you can walk around the lake and visit all the pavillions of the different countries- the Japanese pagoda is extremely authentic looking.  You can try foods from different lands, and also buy high quality (and rather expensive) souvenirs from the different countries.  Good Luck and have a great time! FL rocks!

  2. definintely magic kindom

  3. Well it all depends on what you like, Epcot has like no rides except Test Track, Mission:Space, & Soarin'. Everything else is boring (in my opinion), its just all countries & learning stuff.

Magic Kingdom is actually a lot funner! It has rides like Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Bug Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Indy Speedway, & A lot of other rides.

In my opinion, you should most definitly go to Magic Kingdom, your going to get bored in Epcot, unless you like learning about different countries.

Have Fun.. where ever you go! :)

  4. Epcot is worth it if you aren't planning on going back, i have been to disney land and world and epcot would be best i think. the countries in epcot are fun

  5. Well, Magic kingdom has a lot more rides and things to do than Epcot. Epcot has a few fun rides but other than that its just mainly the world show case, Which is Country's around the world. It can be pretty boring, and Epcot is HUGE so your feet get super sore at the end. I would say just go to Magic Kingdom.

  6. this is an easy answer

magic kingdom is just like disney land its the same

so i suggest you go to epcot

  7. First off, they are both amazing.

Epcot has a few rides, but you mostly just learn stuff.  Half of the park is like futureland.  That's also where the rides are - Test Track, Mssion: Space, and Soarin'.  The other half of the park is like a mini-earth.  There are about 12 different "countries" (including France, Mexico, and Germany).  Each country has a restaurant, a few authentic-feeling shops, live entertainment, and occasionaly a ride.  So Epcot is cool if you want to pack a year's worth of learning into one day.

Now the Magic Kingdom.  It has several mini-themeparks inside of it, such as Tomorrowland, Frontierland, and Fantasyland.  They have a lot of rides - you might have heard of Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, and Thundermountain.  If you don't like rollercoasters, there is still plenty to do - everything from taking a journey through the Haunted Mansion to riding through the Carribean with Jack Sparrow.  You might even get tapped on the shoulder by a staff member and win something from the Year of a Million Dreams Sweepstakes, such as a stay in the luxurious Cinderella Castle Suite.

So all in all, there is more to do at the Magic Kingdom, and you can really get that "Disney" experience (seeing Cinderella's castle, getting autographs from Mickey, etc.).  But depending on when you're going (summer, spring break, or winter), the crowds can get REALLY bad, 10x worse than Epcot.  So that's it.

Summary: Magic Kingdom is 10x better, but it sometimes can be 10x as crowded.

  8. well  i love both  parks   if you are looking for a educational park  with three basic rides then go to epcot you got mission space  soarin and also  test track.  along with a few other little cool things  but if you enjoy looking at diffrent countrys  and seeing how they live i say epcot all the way   but  like another writter i say disney world is better then disney land it  is alot larger and more things to see and do but alot of it is the basic idea  if you are really wanting to see it is it possable to get two days or look into going after 4 pm sometimes they have specials if u enter a park after 4 pm

  9. i like magic kingdom a lot better. epcot was boring for me and the only good ride there was soarin.

  10. Disneyland and Magic Kingdom aren't excatally the same. They have some ride differences. I perfer Epcot. It has a large varitey, and is different than Disneyland. I went to all the parks and Epcot was my favorite.

  11. Well, it depends. Magic Kingdom has many rides some are really good, but most are for little children. Especially, the ones in Fantasyland. And in Epcot, most of the park is gift shops and sights. It barely has any rides. But, all the rides are really fun. If I were you, I would go to Animal Kingdom. To Me, Animal Kingdom has better rides(except for Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Magic Kingdom, the best). Animal Kingdom has Expedition Everest, which is the best Roller Coaster in Disney History. And Also, for the young ones it has It's Tought To Be A Bug. And for the whole family, you have the Kali River Rapids and the Safari Ride. Also, for 12 and up there is DINOSAUR. I recommend to not put little children in thre they might get scared. They also have Hester & Chester's Dino-Rama which is sort of like a carnival. Also, for the little ones they have shows like Finding Nemo - The Musical, Pocahontas and her Friends, and Festival Of The Lion King. That is what i think of Animal Kingdom. But, Magic Kingdom is more familly-oriented than Epcot. Epcot is booooooooooring. Plus, they have 2 of the best rides ever "Splash Mountain" and "Big Thunder Mountain Railroad" and Pirates of The Caribbean rides r awesome 2.
