I want to make a sliver deck. I have like all the needed slivers (muscle, queen, overlord) and I was just wondering if anyone knows of any other cards that would go well with a sliver deck.

Thanks

  1. Joiner Adept (IIRC, 1G, 2/1, All lands can produce any mana type).  You need this.  Slivers always run the issue of being slow and land troubled.  Joiner Adept solves that.  Don't worry if your deck becomes green lopsided from this.

Metalic Sliver (1, 1/1 Artifact Sliver).  Just another Sliver.  Metalic Sliver gains the advantage from being expendible though.

Gemhide Sliver (1G, 1/1, All Slivers can tap for 1 coloured mana).  See Joiner Adept

Ashonad's Alter/Heartstone - Lets you create a strong Sliver army.

Hunter Sliver, Winged Sliver, Sinew Slivew, Heart Sliver, Sliver Legion, Plated Sliver, Blade Sliver - All strong additions to a Sliver deck.

  2. all good answers above.  A combo I got my friend to use was Unnatural Selection/Sliver Overlord.

Unnatural Selection- (1): Choose a creature type other than Wall. Target creature becomes that type until end of turn.

So, for 4 mana you can make something a sliver, then gain control of it permanently...

click that link it will bring you right to a sliver's pre con deck that should help you decide.

  4. 2 non-sliver cards that would go well with a sliver deck are Heartstone and Ashnod's Altar.  Heartstone reduces the activation cost of all creature abilites by 1 but won't let it go below 1.  Ashnod's Altar lets you sacrifice a creature for 2 colorless mana.  With that being said, you get Sliver Queen, Ashnod's Altar, and Heartstone into play.  Since the Heartstone reduces Sliver Queen's activation cost for creating sliver tokens by 1, it gives you an infinite sliver token combo with the altar.  Here's how it works:

Step 1: Have all 3 cards in play.

Step 2: Pay 1 mana and put a sliver token into play using the queen's ability.

Step 3: Sacrifice the token to Ashnod's Altar for 2 mana.

Step 4: Use the mana you generate from the altar to produce 2 more tokens.  Sacrifice them to the altar for 4 mana.

See the pattern?  This combo also lets you generate infinite colorless mana if needed.  Check the links in my sources if you want to see Heartstone and Ashnod's Altar.

  5. Here's a list of most (if not all) cards that have to do with slivers...
