Magic Vs. YGO on Yahoo Answers?

I understand that you are passionate about the games that you play. And I understand that you think your game is much better than everyone elses. But what gets me is when someone asks a question about a certain game, people chime in saying that that game sucks and you should play this game.

Are people really that insensitive? Can they just not leave well enough alone?

I know very little about YGO. My only experience with it is through the GBA World Destruction game. You don't see me running around at all YGO questions saying that YGO sucks. I just don't look at them. But I guess people are desperate for those 2 points that they have to answer with something.

This really isn't a question, it's more of a comment. Best comment gets the points, because to some, the points are the only thing that matter.

And I know that only a few people do it, but it's the few that gives the rest a bad name.

YuGiOh is the # 1 card game ( read the new yugioh packs )

We finally prevalied and beat magic yugioh players r more well rounded.

Many people are insensitive jerks who get some sort of accomplishment from calling others little kids who need to grow up. Why they do, I don't know.

I personally hate people who do the "u suk u nub u shuld play halo it owns ur pokemonz and yugiohz" (no bias against Halo games or Pokemon/Yugioh intended). It's a cycle. Soon, someone will call that person a n00b with no life, and there's a lot of flaming and negative emotions going around. Some people do cry because of them.

Why does it give satisfaction to everyone to call everyone else little kids and stuff? We all are entitled to our own opinions. I like Yu-Gi-Oh, someone else likes Magic, someone else Halo, we should all just live with it and be good friends with those who share our interests. If you think badly of someone's interests, don't post a negative answer. Just stay away from the topic so that we're all at peace.

It just depends on which game you like.  Magic started the genre and all other card games followed because of its success.

Magic is also for a broader audience up to more mature players.  YGO is for younger players and this is where most gamers are.  

If YGO has passed Magic, it won't be there for long.  Just like when Pokemon did back in the day, Magic is the game that has been around the longest.

Hey - enjoy whatever games you like to play.  I play Magic, and Magic only, because I decided a long time ago that I would only play/collect one game, as I need to save some money for other things in life.

If you think YGO is the best - good for you!  Enjoy it, play it, and have fun.  Same goes for MTG, Pokemon, Battle Cattle or whatever other game you like.

Most of the people who say a game sucks are nobodies who spam any question in order to get points. Seriously, just ignore them or report them. These people never get Best Answer and usually go away after a week or two.

In real life I've found that Magic players bad mouth YGO far more than YGO players bad mouth Magic. Which is sad because many current YGO players are likely candidates for future Magic players.

I think that YGO is fun to play because it is all about strategy and thinking about how to play the next move. I like making my brain work so that is the game I play.
