Magic jack? Heard of it?

Question

Has anyone heard of that magic jack? Its a device you hook up your USB port or something and it gives you free phone local and long distance phone calls? You only pay once a year? Does anybody have this device, if so how does it work? Or there any hidden fee's? Also can you still get on the internet with this device. any adivice thanks,

I have the magic jack and i love it . I took it to mexico over the new years holiday and i was traveling with 14 people as soon as they found out i was calling the U.S for free they were really interested in my new found toy. They were all paying about 4 bucks a minute with the hotel phone cause most of our cell phones didnt work . Everyone was using my Magic Jack and they all couldnt wait to get home to buy it. I take it where ever i go now. It is the greatest !!! If you dont have one yet you would be a fool not to get one !

I have it since May/'7 and love it!! no hidden fee nor taxes even E911 is free ....and with my other VoIP provider ( Packet8) I have to pay 1.99 dollars a month!

I use it on my desk top at home and my laptop while traveling abroad....so I can call home for free, with an US area-code.....my family like it so much that I had to order 6 more....so they can call me for free in the US....like it says just use your USB port and your up and making calls in 5 minutes....!

its much easier to set up then any of the VoIP providers I also got an my computer.....I just bought the 2nd year which I only 19.99 per year..!

and the voice mail and all the features are just great...if you can't find your area-code....just get a GrandCentral number....unitll you can change over to your area code, its also free....

the good part is that you  can use any old analog phone and dont have to buy a pricey VoIP phone....
