  1. yes

  2. They don't like growing on ground that has been treated with chemicals is what I remember from my picking days.

  3. Lots of poisonous mushrooms grow outside.

  4. Yeah, if late late at night you wanna go down to a place you know theres lots of cows, and trust me you will smell it, sometimes on top of or even burried within cow manure can be come mushroom. Please please please be careful though, I have heard bad stories of kids running from angry farmers, but its not too hard. Wash them thuroughly, take a paper towel, dry them from, make sure theres no mold or anything growin on them. Maybe wait a day or two, dry them out a little and chow down. Be careful though, when you get them like that you never know how strong they will be. Have fun =)

  5. It depends on the mushroom. Liberty caps grow in well fertelized soil but not on manure. Cubensis grow on c**p and you gotta make sure to clean them!

  6. "Psilocybe cubensis is a coprophilic fungus (one that prefers to grow on dung or manured soils) that often colonizes the dung of large herbivores, most notably cows and other grazing mammals"
