Question:

[Magic the Gathering Cards #13] Replacement For Cloudthresher

by  |  earlier

Many people recommended me a Cloudthresher for an additional factor on my weird elemental deck. But as for the price of Cloudthresher, it is expensive, and I only play as a casual player, which I really want to play Magic.

I really what to know if there is a replacement or other recommendations for the position of Cloudthresher within Lorwyn (lorwyn & morningtide) to Shadowmoor (Shadowmoor & Eventide) Block.

Thanks again.

  1. If you are complaining about Cloudthresher, then I am afraid that you may be out of luck. First of all, Cloudthresher isn't even a very expensive card, compared to some of the other things (Tarmogoyf, Bitterblossom, Mutavault, Chameleon Colossus) running around in standard right now.

But you do have some budget-friendly options, such as Raking canopy. Raking canopy deals 4 damage to each creature that has flying that attacks you. It deals damage as they attack, so it is usually dead before it even touches you. Best of all, it is an enchantment, so it sticks around forever.

    Hope that helped.
