I'm trying to build a spell damage deck, and I know there's a card that says "when a non-creature source deals damage, deal 1 extra damage", or something like that. Can anyone tell me what this card is called, what color or set it's from, or any cards with similar effects?

  1. Only thing I could come up with was:

    Name: Talon of Pain

    Set & Rarity: Darksteel uncommon

    Printings:

    Cost:   4

    Card Type: Artifact

    P/T:

Rules Text (Oracle):  Whenever a source you control other than Talon of Pain deals damage to an opponent, put a charge counter on Talon of Pain.

,X, Remove X charge counters from Talon of Pain: Talon of Pain deals X damage to target creature or player.

  2. http://ww2.wizards.com/gatherer/  is the best place to seek your answer. Just fill in a couple words and click text only. I

  3. There is Pyromancer's Swath for instances and sorceries (and it adds two damage, but has a mighty drawback): http://ww2.wizards.com/Gatherer/CardDeta...

And there is Sulfuric Vapors for red spells: http://ww2.wizards.com/Gatherer/CardDeta...

Pretty sure there is no card for noncreature sources.

  4. its blue....i havent played magic for the longest time

  5. furnace of wrath

  6. The only card I could think of is "furnace of rath" which doubles all damage assigned to any creature or player.
