  1. A deck like that really gets a lot better with Kitchen Finks. If you have a lot of persist Heartmender can be real good too.

You could also go the Elf route (note that all those creature you mentioned are Elves) and add Imperious Perfect, Wren Run's Vanquisher and Llanowar Elves.

  2. Armored Ascension, Rhys the redeemed, Rhys the exiled, Drone of elves, Prison Term , Presence of Gond, Curse of Chains, Wheel of Sun and Moon.  That should be a great help, also would throw in a "perfect" or two.  I also added the Howl of the Night Pack into a druid deck, nothing like getting a bonus for having alot of forests.

  3. Rhys the Redeemed comes to mind, as does Drove of Elves.

The Shield of the Oversoul is the one that makes a reature indestructible right?

If that's the case you'd want Pariah in there, redirects all damage done to you to the creature it enchants.

There really aren't very many "must have" cards in Magic. a card that's great in one deck may be useless in another, and vice versa.

I gave you a couple good ones that I could remember off the top of my head, hope it helps some.
