to counter a spell it needs to be played and countered before it resolves, but when u play a creature it has summoning sickness, can u then still counter it before it untaps during the opponents next untap step, or is it no longer a spell?

also, what are the ways u can destroy an artifact or an enchantment ?

  2. After a creature spell resolves it cannot be countered, it is no longer a spell it is just a permanent.

There are several ways to destroy artifacts and enchantments. The easiest way is a white spell called disenchant which will destroy either an enchantment or an artifact. There are also other ways such as shatter which is red and will destroy a target artifact and for green there is tranquillity which will destroy all enchantments.

  3. Amir, you are so cool.  Please answer all the questions that we mature players have.  Stupid prick.

Anyways, Spells can only be countered when they are played from the hand.  Cards put into play from a hand cannot be countered.  So, kill that Elvish Piper when it comes into play because it will bring in creatures and you can't counter them.

There are multiple ways to deal with artifact and enchantments.  Smash, Disenchant, Seal of Primordial, Seal of Cleansing, etc.  Though I like Aura Shards the best.  It lets you destroy an artifact or enchantment whenever you play a creature spell.
