ok so if there is a creature that has X/X and X is the number of lands and green permanants you control, if you have a green land, does that count as a land and a green permanant(adding 2/2) or does it only count as one

  1. it would only count as one

  2. lands are not colorless because each mana represents a different color.

    forests are green

    mountains are red

    swamps are black

    islands are blue

    and plains are white.

    some are evne mixed

and some can be whatever you want when you play them.

you would get plus two b/c its a green permanent and a land.

  3. It would only count as one.

  4. Dylan obviously doesn't know about Dryad Arbor...

Or the fact that Painters Servant will make every permanent into at least 1 color (+ whatever it was to begin with). This means lands will have a color as well. (I won't bother listing the plethora of cards that can make lands green... suffice to say there are many ways to make a land green.)

Anyways, if it was worded as such "[This card]'s power and toughness are equal to the total number of green permanents plus the total number of lands you control" then it would count the green land twice. Once for being a green permanent and once for being a land.

Lord of Leaves (below me) is incorrect. Lands are not the color of the mana that they can produce. Forests make Green mana, but they themselves, are colorless (unless an effect gives them a color).

  5. If both conditions are met (animated mutavault with cerulean's wisp) it will count as both.

  6. Uhhh...

I wouldn't listen to the other people.

    Lands are colorless.

    ALL lands are colorless.

You can't have a green land, sorry.

It would only be a 1/1 for the land.
