  1. Well 1. Get Magic's official tutorial. It's a video game that teaches you to play Magic. http://www.wizards.com/magic/products/Le...

    2. Make sure the cards you bought have mana, sometimes the cards you buy off of ebay don't have mana

    3. Buy theme decks so that you can practice different styles of gameplay. This will allow you to know what you're comfortable with and will make creating your own deck easier. http://magiccardhaven.ecrater.com

  2. Get the "Going Rogue" Theme Deck, it rocks!!! Also, use ebay to get good cards for a cheap price.

  3. well to get a good deck going id start by picking out a type of creature or ability you want your deck based around for instance i have a green white kithken deck with all sorts of kithkins that do certain things and give all kithkins +1 +1 and what not. thier are a lot of differnt decks you could make just whatever you fell will win you the game

  4. well if i were you i would start out with a deck from mirrodin or something farther back because the decks now will be to confusing to u. im trying to teach a freind to play magic but he doenst understand all the rules now because the magic starter games from years ago with the simple haste vigilance first strike ect. so just start around mirrodin or futuresight and build your way up
