First of all, your deck is not bad, for a first attempt. However, I can’t say that it is any good, either.

You are suffering from a classic noob condition: Multitasking. While outside of magic, this may be good, but in magic, particularly in decks, it is very very bad. Your deck is trying to do too much.

You said that the deck is G/R. Why, then, are you splashing ONE SINGLE Island for ONE SINGLE CARD? This is ridiculous. Your deck is already big. How likely is it for you to draw that ONE SINGLE ISLAND to play the leap of flame? If you have the spell in your opening hand, then you will likely hang on to it for the rest of the game. So, I would tell you to cut the flame and cut the island.

There is also a lot, and I mean, A LOT, of junk that needs to go. The only good cards I see in the deck are Jaya Ballard, Heartmender, Murderous Redcap, and the Puncture bolts. Everything else can be cut. Although this doesn’t leave you with more than 4 cards, it gives you an idea of which cards you need to include in your deck. Also, your deck needs to be 60 cards, no more, no less. Find a good theme to build your deck around. If you want to go aggro and beat your opponent down with creatures, include Tattermunge Maniacs, Boggart Ram-Gangs, and the beautiful $50-a-piece Tarmogoyf. If you want to play tempo, you need a lot more burn, like Rift Bolt, Shock, Tarfire, Incinerate, etc. You need one cohesive theme in your deck; else, your deck will not work out.
