Magic trick (cesaral melting point)?

I saw a video on youtube where a guy put a coin through a glass table. Supposedly it has something to do with his ring, but I have no idea what it is. The trick is called cesaral melting point and I can't find how it's done anywhere on the internet... these magicians must have people in the FBI. You can buy the dvd on how to do it for around $60, but I'm just curious, I would never want to actually perform it.
