MagicJack.com is it worth the 39.95?

Hello I am interested in ordering magicjack but I am unsure of the ins and outs or the pros and cons. Please can someone who is already using this item tell me about your experience along with a quick run down of the service.

I love it too and have used one for four months.

I would not use it as my primary service but just to make long distance calls within US/Canada.

Yes i have 2 magic jacks and it is worth it. Just buy it, you wont be disappointed.

yes!! I love it...!

I have it since May/'7 and love it!! no hidden fee nor taxes even E911 is free ....and with my other VoIP provider ( Packet8) I have to pay 1.99 dollars a month!

I use it on my desk top at home and my laptop while traveling abroad....so I can call home for free, with an US area-code.....my family like it so much that I had to order 6 more....so they can call me for free in the US....like it says just use your USB port and your up and making calls in 5 minutes....!

its much easier to set up then any of the VoIP providers I also got an my computer.....I just bought the 2nd year which I only 19.99 per year..!

and the voice mail and all the features are just great...if you can't find your area-code....just get a GrandCentral number....unitll you can change over to your area code, its also free....

the good part is that you can use any old analog phone and dont have to buy a pricey VoIP phone....

yes, you gotta download their software....but its very easy and you don't need to do nothing else...! I have it since last year...! so far I love it...I take it on vacation to other countries so I can call back for free with an US area code! Make sure you use another user account and not the "admin" account...also if you have trouble...check your device manager....don't do your iPot stuff at the same time...!

all you get is the Magic Jack...the rest you learn on your on, or at the MJ forum!

You will be up and running within 5 minutes....you can ask here questions when you get it going!! There are alot of little things you have to know........for it to work just right!!

the most important thing with the MJ...it all depends on your ISP provider....! I use other VoIP on my computer, but the MJ was the easiest to install...

I also use GrandCentral.com to have numbers in different States...so my friends call call fron a local area-code!! Most ppl who use MJ also have GC...to to the MJ forum and you will see....you don't have to wait to get the number....did you have an invite? Each person get only 10 invites for GC....
