my friend wants to do them and i want to know the good/bad of them..

you should choose Amanita Muscaria, my brother-in-law who is a biologist recommends them.  difficult to determine the effects because it's variable from person to person, but be sure you are in a SAFE place, literally and emotionally.  a GREAT experience!  i did them with my husband not too long ago, and i had an extreme sense of calm and everything around me was blue and glowing.  you will most likely experience a heightened sense of what is around you, which is why i stressed the importance of a safe place, like your living room or a cool campsite (both of which were GREAT for me).  i haven't heard of ODing on them, just take one cap to start, you probably will not need more than that.  if you take too much, i've heard that you feel very nauseous.  one hitch is if you are worried about something, or nervous, or have some unrevealed feelings about the people you are with, this will all come out after taking mushrooms and you will have a bad trip!  just be conscious of who you do this with and be sure of how you feel abut them.

Similar to LSD but not as long lasting and a more 'earthy' trip...hard to explain - visuals, laughter, awe inspiring insights, hallucinations (generally just things looking very colourful or perhaps morphing depends on the dose and the individual but you won't be seeing mars bars running down the street or anything like that, hallucinations don't work like that unless you've taken Datura (don't take Datura by the way that is real life hallucinations and that WILL freak you out - trust me)

You can't O.D.

The only bad would be the risk of accident or perhaps the possibility of freaking out if your really not used to this type of thing. The trick is to go with the flow and enjoy. I love shrooming it's an experience not to be missed.
