Just because she's bitter for giving away her baby (who's probably with a better family now), she's all over adoption, slamming it, going on about freakin' koolaid (yeah, ok, just make up words), talking about how anyone who is the slightest bit happy with their lives is wrong! What's the deal?

  1. l had a look at the questions too.  l sort of see what you mean.....you shouldn't be rude but, she's probably very upset or something.  Besides, don't you get in trouble for doing that on here.

  2. If you don't like the way she answers questions, block her from seeing yours. That's what that feature is for.

  4. You aren't sounding very happy.  Not here, not in the answers you give to other people, nor in the other questions you pose.

I'm not bitter for placing my son for adoption.  With the exception of two specific issues, I'm actually quite pleased with how everything has turned out.

  5. where, i want to read this

  6. Everybody has a right to their opinion based on their own experiences and research. Not all adoption experiences are wonderful for everyone and she simply points that out. It is a needed balance, IMO since adoption is a complex thing for both sets of parents as well as the adoptee with conflicting emotions, possible and probable issues etc. Few people ever admit or even consider that there is a negative side to it.

This is life; it's messy and complicated and wonderful and exciting and scary and painful...adoption is not immune to the ups and downs.

Martine, may I ask how adoption is involved in your life? Are you an adoptee, adoptive parent, hopeful adoptive parent, or birthparent? You have some angry posts regarding other people's opinions and experiences and I am wondering why it matters to you what other people think? Why not simply have your own opinion and allow others theirs?
