Magix Movie Edit Pro 12 vs. Other Editors ?

Question

I currently have MEP 12 and I love it. I am wanting to get 14 Plus, and was wanting some opinions on it.

I know some people hate it (they all say Vegas?) and some people love it, but please, give good reasons. Not just: That sucks get this.

So, should I get MEP 14, or is there something better? (For the same or less cost.) Just saying it sucks won't convince me. I really like 12 so far, so 14 is pretty definite...
