Maglass Rumble seeking hat trick in the Betfred Gymcrack – Heat 1 at Kinsley
The Betfred Gymcrack – Heat 1 will get staged at Kinsley over 462 metres flat on Sunday, 10th June. Taking part in the £125 event are Maglass Rumble, Beaming Strike, Whittle Murtagh, Bursary Boy, Lixies Rock and Highview Quest.
Leading the line-up with the best credentials is Maglass Rumble, Ace Hi Rumble’s two-year-old black son out of b***h, Dooneen Promise. He started off with the career by winning the career debut.
He won a 525 yards race on 21st February and then finished third in a 420 metres race at Peterborough on 26th March. The race was won by Isheforreal who timed the track distance in 25.57 seconds and led by 7 ¾ lengths.
The loss led to a 420 metres of a drilling session on 2nd April at Peterborough. The two-year-old accomplished the task in 25.83 seconds.
Proving as effective as it was expected, Maglass Rumble won a 420 metres race at Peterborough on 19th April by clocking the track distance in 26.18 seconds and leading the runner up, Drumcrow Junior, by four and a half lengths.
The impact of the training did not stay effective for long as the very next try ended with a fifth ranking and even the race after that resulted in the similar outcome.
Then on 10th May he claimed a 450 metres race at Oxford. Maglass Rumble reached the other end of the wire in 27.20 seconds and took charge of the final 2 ¼ lengths. Finishing the closest to the winner was Extremely.
His fourth success of the season was in the Text ‘Dogs’ To 60006 Trophy at Romford over 400 metres on 18th May. He covered the track distance in 24.30 seconds and led the 2/1 favourite runner up of the race, Gilbeyhall Ned, by five lengths. He timed the track in 24.70 seconds.
Coming at terms with the third position was Droopys Falcon.
The trainer, S. Race, drilled the two-year-old twice at Kinsley for enhancing and making Maglass Rumble’s chances stronger for striking a hat trick by winning the race tonight. Both the sessions were over 462 metres, the first one he settled in 27.97 secodns and then took 27.77 seconds for the next one.
