Magna Fiddler tipped to win Bedford Road 550 Maiden Dup
Magna Fiddler is tipped to win the Bedford Road 550 Maiden Dup at Henlow in England on Thursday, April 19, 2012. A cash prize of £150 has been set for the 550 metres flat race.
The Grade OR event will start at 20:30 GMT and a total of six quality hounds will be seen in action. Their names are as follows: Magna Fiddler, Farran Madrid, Supernova King, Westmead Atiya, Mutton Geoff and Yer A Diamond.
The bookies have shown full faith in the abilities of Magna Fiddler despite the fact that victories have eluded him for the past few months. He is an experienced campaigner, but the punters might not risk a lot of money in his favour today. However, they
will miss a chance of winning some easy money, if the favourite hound prevails.
The J. Hayton’s trained hound has not raced at Henlow before, thus he might struggle to cope up with the conditions. He has performed decently at different venues, which shows that the change in venue will not be a big issue for him.
In his previous few outings, Magna Fiddler has managed to challenge his rivals, but victories have not come his way. He has a very good chance to break the shackles at Henlow, but will need to put in some extra effort in order to finish on top of the table.
The black dog finished fourth in his most recent race, which shows that he is not in good form at the moment. He is the son of Westmead Joe out of Farloe Princess and was born in October 2008.
On the other hand, Farran Madrid might manage to pull off a victory at Henlow today. She is a tough competitor, but might find things hard in this class. Her recent form has not been bad, thus the bettors are likely to risk some money in her favour.
The A. Tuffin’s trained b***h ended up runner up in her previous race and has very good chances of fighting for victory yet again. She is the daughter of Crash out of Foggy Blue Bell and was born in May 2010.
Other than the top two favourites, Supernova King and Westmead Atiya might also challenge for the top position in the race.
