B. Draper’s trainee has done well at different levels lately. After sealing a comfortable win in the Grade IT, he stepped into the A1 class, and continued the majestic work. After leaving the first box, he showed immense pace, and eventually finished on
top of the table by 2¾ lengths.
After clinching a fascinating A1 success, the son of Rumble Impact jumped to this class, but failed to bring Lady Luck alongside him. The 2-year-old got crowded right in the beginning, and it was very difficult for him to recover thereafter.
Nevertheless, the dashing hound ran wonderfully to share the podium. The draw is a huge plus for him. There is nothing wrong with his current rhythm, and the latest loss was just a matter of luck. He is obviously in good momentum, and could play a huge role.
Other hounds in the pack are: Swift Frogma, Yah Muppet, Glenvale Frankie, and Jumeirah Man. The race will be run over a distance of 480 metres. The open contest will be kicked off at 13:27 GMT. A cash prize of 200 pounds is reserved for the successful hound.
Swift Frogma ran well in far hotter company at Nottingham. Having taken the runner-up place in his previous four encounters, the brindle dog is in good form at the moment. However, the son of Kinloch Brae needs an extra push to get back to the winning ways.
Jumeirah Man could be the meat in the sandwich from the third box. There are concerns over his form. The white and black dog completed the order of finish last time. Yah Muppet defeated Magna Rumble last week, but the draw is much different this time. So,
an equally fine show is not expected.
Glenvale Frankie, on the other hand, is one of the best drawn runners on the card. This trip should also suit him. So, we are not reluctant to term him as a big threat to Magna Rumble and Swift Frogma.
