Magna Sparrow to strike in Owlerton Bookmakers Super Stayers at Sheffield
Magna Sparrow ran well in defeat last time and has a great opportunity to improve and secure the first position in the Owlerton Bookmakers Super Stayers, being held at Sheffield on Tuesday, June 5th. According to
the program, the 720 metres flat heat will be started at 20:14 (GMT).
Among Magna Sparrow’s rivals are: Wonder Girl, Proper Pink, Tyrur Pudsy, Stepaside Glenis and Parkfield Alice. The winning hound will be given a cash prize worth £200.
Magna Sparrow has been running well over the past few weeks. In a similar contest on May 8th, the black dog did a fantastic job, grabbing the first place by 6¾ lengths.
After such a tremendous win, B. Draper’s trainee lost his momentum for a while, finishing fifth in a 660 metres race. A terrible outing could not dent his confidence, as he demonstrated a fabulous show last time around.
The 660 metres clash saw the dashing hound missing the gold medal by 2¾ lengths. Westmead Hawk’s son had every chance of finishing first on the podium, but failed to stand first. He is in good shape these days and therefore,
one can expect him to enthral today.
On the other hand, Wonder Girl is determined to do wonders today. The white and black b***h was pretty impressive in a 915 metres race in mid May, when she missed the crown only by ½ a length.
R. Thompson’s trainee keeps catching the eye and another big run expected today. However, if we compare her finishing time with Magna Sparrow over 720 metres, the latter has the edge.
Stepaside Glenis was a wild seed not too long ago, but is going through a bad time at the moment. So, she is unlikely to surprise us over 720 metres. Tyrur Pudsy possibly underachieved since making a bright start.
Parkfield Alice was a shock but easy winner at Belle Vue a few days ago. At the end of last month, the black b***h grabbed the top prize by eight lengths. Proper Pink is undergoing a frustrating spell these days, thus it is
hard to recommend her.
