Magnavox 30MF200V/17 No picture, only sound. This four-year-old 30" flat screen loses the picture

This four-year-old 30" flat screen loses the picture intermittently -- sound is fine, but screen goes to black. If you turn the TV off and on again, the picture may reappear, but the picture will disappear again in 10-15 minutes. Can I fix it? Or should I chunk it? Tess
