Magnavox TV won't turn on.

Question

We lost our remote and were trying to manually turn on the tv. Pressed some controls like the protection controls for kids viewing and now we can't even get the TV to turn on. We bought a unviersale remaote and entered all the codes but no success. HELP We have model 27MS343S mfg in 2002.
