I started taking a calcium magnesium supplement and immediately started getting this weird twitch in my ear that's very sensitive to low frequencies, and I'm also much more prone to cramping in my legs. The supplement has 300mg of Calcium (25%RDA) and 350mg of Magnesium (75%RDA) both in "ionized" form, whatever that means. It also contains trace amounts of other minerals like boron and has B-6, B-12, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and Vitamin D, all in relatively low levels (all below 100% RDA).
I thought Magnesium was supposed to help ease cramps and twitches, not cause them???
