Mags Man determined to win Gain Garmivit 525
The Maguire-trained black dog, Mags Man, holds the highest market value for the Gain Garmivit 525, a high-stakes Grade A1 race that is going to take place at Harold’s Cross on Friday night, July 13. The €400 event will begin at 21:45 (GMT).
After breaking from Trap 6, the three-year-old veteran hound will test his racing credentials on the flat track of 525 yards. He is supposed to face five competitors on his way towards the finish line.
Since the dawn of the calendar year, the dashing dog had been doing well but the last month did not prove to be lucky enough for him. However, he managed to finish as a runner-up in the Find Us On Facebook 550 on June 29.
During the months of March, April and May, the talented son of Hades Rocket out of Kilmore Beauty delivered some outstanding marks. He grabbed a grand triumph by the big margin of 4 lengths on March 19. He repeated the same on April 13.
Interestingly, Mags Man again won a race by 4-length margin on May 11. What a consistency! In his last outing on July 6, the experienced hound earned a runner-up position.
The best thing about the Mags Man is that he has proved his skills equally well on all the major race tracks. So far, he has won just two races at the venue where he is going to run tonight.
Thus, the hot favourite dog will be able to thrive convincingly as none of his rivals is strong enough to challenge him.
However, Mags Man will have to be wary of Fuerty Flash who gained a lot of confidence by winning the Welcome To Harolds Cross Greyhound Stadium 525 with a significant margin of 5 lengths on June 29, 2012. Prior to this, the Kelly-trained white and black
b***h had gained a runner-up spot in a T2 race on June 22.
Thus, there will be witnessed a rip-roaring clash between Fuerty Flash and Mags Man. It will be a pleasant experience to watch this duel. Good luck to the both the momentous hounds who are set to entertain their fans tonight.
