Indian World Cup winning skipper, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, opposed the hectic schedule saying that the jam-packed calendar will exhaust the players mentally as well as physically.
The captain said that this busy schedule would affect the performances of players. He added that players can struggle physically but mentally it will put stress on them.
"After the IPL, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760 series, we then go straight to England, we come back, if we qualify (in the IPL) you play in the Champions League”, said Dhoni.
Following, the long schedule of International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup 2011, which lasted 40 days, Indian Premier League IPL 4 starts off on 8th of April, which will run for 50 days.
Dhoni is now ready to lead Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) latest season as a skipper and under his captaincy, CSK won last year.
“Then there are another couple of tournaments before you move to Australia, so it's quite a hectic schedule ahead of us", Dhoni said. The veteran also pointed out that the schedule may not affect all the players but it will be hectic for those who have been
playing for the last six months.
Dhoni, who played a splendid innings of 91 runs in the final of the World Cup, had earlier condemned the busy scheduled before the tournament started for which he had to face a furious reaction from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Dhoni, whose leadership was greatly praised by many cricketers, guided his side to their second world title on April 2, 2011, by thrashing http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 by 29 runs, while they

Indian batting maestro, Sachin Tendulkar, has also lauded Dhoni, saying he is the best captain he has played under. He added that the skipper remains calm and never shows anger.
Apart from Dhoni, India’s former coach, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Gary-Kirsten-c58527, who has recently left for his country after the completion of his tenure, spoke highly of Dhoni.
