It was a do-or-die situation for the Delhi Daredevils who needed a win to keep any hopes of reaching the semi-final stage alive. The odds were stacked against them as they faced the in-form Chennai Super Kings in front of a hostile crowd at the MA Chidambaram

Badrinath departed on 55 runs from 43 deliveries hitting seven boundaries, including a six and Dhoni stood on the crease for an unbeaten 63 runs with four sixes to his name as the Chennai Super Kings managed a total of 176 runs.
