They've done it twice but it still keeps looking like heck. Know of anything that will last longer than a couple of months??

  1. Might visit a marine supply store for recommendations on something better than  common deck sealers that soak into softer wood

They have  cleaners & protectants used on teak & mahogany boat decks .

They do not last forever either  , but certainly more than a couple of months even in a salty marine enviornment.

    Best regards

  2. not really, mahogany is a high maintenence wood, if you use anything that "seals" it you will probably end up with rot.teak oil, tung oil, linseed oil are good for the wood and keep it looking pretty but you'll have to supply the elbow grease
