  1. Charity organizations might be glad of them, otherwise place adverts in various places  `free to good home. Must collect`

  2. donate to a charity, put on e-bay, or put an ad in the paper but specify that buyer needs to pick up items.

  3. If you have a mahogany dinning table and chairs they could be worth a few pounds so contact some  reputable antique dealers in your area and they will possibly put them into an auction for you and charge a small commission. If you know that they are not worth much give them to some deserving cause.

  4. try calling charity shops if you want to donate them. many places would pick them up from you

  5. Here's the link to the Dublin Freecycle group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FreecycleD...

    It's a decent-sized group, with nearly 5,000 members.

Join up -- I'm sure you'll find a good home for the dining table, chairs and cabinet.

I can't believe how many things I've freecycled in the last three years through my local group - sofabed, table, children's toys, books, left-over paint, old computer bits... and we've received some useful stuff, too.

It's a wonderful scheme, with groups worldwide.

    :D

  6. I certaily would not give it away for nothing.

Why dont you advertise it for sale in the free traders mag.?

They sound lovely, and they can be easily refurbished.

    Good luck.

  7. Try your local area freecycle to see if anyone wants it or try an agency such as Emaus which will take away and resell household goods.

  8. I had the same problem, charity shops didn't want them ( said they were inundated with them) even had trouble to give them away, has your council a 'large rubbish' collection and disposal service? here in the North East we have..try them...

  9. Try to get onto Freecycle, just type Dublin+freecycle into your browser box.
