Mahommad Ali vs joe louis both in there primes.?

Ali once said that louis was a bag of sand with a good jab.louis didn't move like ali and alot of people don't understand he was 6'3" and 215 pounds.

This would be an interesting fight however my money is on Ali, in his prime (1966) ali was much faster and elusive than joe louis, louis was an intelligent fighter with good knock out power and powerful jab,however he would have been too slow for someone like Ali and Ali would have outlanded him and probably scored a knock down had they met in their primes.

Ali would've run circles around Joe Louis.  I've seen film highlights of Joe and, I gotta tell you, he was the most over-rated heavyweight champ of all time.

Ali didn't have the power Louis had.  In an extremely close fight I have Louis winning due to being the more aggressive fighter and landing the more powerful shots.  Ali isn't going to be able to rest 75% of every round against Louis like he did against most of the heavyweights he fought.  Louis's hand speed is great and his punching accuracy is better.

louis would win in four. some people think louis is overated, but ALI IS OVERATED. louis finished with a 72-3 record. ali finished with a 56-5 record. louis beat people like primo carnera, max bear, who had the "hardest right hand in the thirty's", and jersey joe walcott. ali fought people like george foreman, which he won because the muslims in zaire treated foreman like a dog, and ali like a king. louis had more wins, less loses, and more ko's. And don't forget, he had to retire for a while to fight in WWII

My money is on Ali as well.  Ali by a decision.  I think the better fight would be Ali vs Dempsey or Marciano.  Ali had problems with guys who would crowd him.  And Dempsey and Marciano both had the same stlye as Frazier.
